I’m a born and bred Slummies girl, I attended the Clarendon Schools all the way from 00 to matric. Straight after my sport filled school career, I studied at The Beauty Academy International where I completed my 2 year Advanced Diploma. After that it was straight into the working world where I worked for an incredible salon for just short of 10 years, learning and gaining so much experience from a fabulous boss/friend.

In that time I took on the KRYOLAN makeup brand as an official stockist for East London.  It has been the most amazing experience and I hope to keep growing with the brand.

I married in 2017 to an incredibly supportive and encouraging husband.  In 2019 we found out we were going to have a baby, yay, and in week 4 of COVID lockdown 2020 I gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Arizona May.  She was the main reason for me opening up my own Studio at home, the best thing ever to be able to spend more time with her.

Kelly May Studio –  What an absolute dream come true, never did I ever think this would be in the pipeline but with Covid and having a baby, it really did shift our future plans for the better. Being able to do what I love from my private Studio at home and then spending so much more time with my little girl when I’m not with clients, has been a true blessing.

In October 2020 I decided to “Grow” a bit more by adding a Luxury Natural Skincare range to my Studio, SKIN CREAMERY, this has been the perfect addition to my business and I can’t wait for you all to get your skin looking and feeling amazing with this gorgeous product.
